My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness.

Here is Chia Bunny visiting with the Dalai Lama. They had a wonderful visit together, and the Dalai Lama insisted that they sit together for some portraits (like this one). You can find the rest of their portrait session in this November's issue of TIME magazine.

Chia asked me to leave you all with this quote the Dalai Lama told her:
Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.

Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil

Chia Bunny has decided to make the most of her time at Casa Barbato by trying to meet all of the Buddha's and enjoying the Asian influences. Here she is learning great wisdom while meditating with the Three Buddhas. After being inspired by her mom's travels to India, Chia Bunny has decided to go visit her good friend the Dalai Lama. Post to follow soon on her exciting trip!

Curious George

Chia Bunny has been meeting all sorts of people during her stay in Julie's kitchen. This little monkey has been fascinated by watching her sprout! All of her visitors and friends have been so impressed by how quickly and thickly her sprouts are coming in.

Happy Fourth of July!

What's that you say, it's the middle of September and not the fourth of July?!! Okay, maybe you're right but let's just pretend anyways. Chia Bunny spent a fun day at the spa Julie's Kitchen where she greatly enjoyed the bustling activity all around her. In honor of her nation's birthday Chia Bunny included the Statue of Liberty in her soaking therapy. She was so excited about her imminent reseeding!

Hairspiration!

Chia Bunny decided it was time to trim her lovely locks. So who did she turn to for some hair inspiration? None other than Julie Barbato and Victoria Beckham! She's really quite please with her new do! (She thinks it accentuates her ears nicely)

Such a romantic!

Chia Bunny's boyfriend Peter Rabbit sent her this lovely card and red rose for Valentine's Day. Fortunately she has a built-in vase in her back so she was able to fully enjoy his romanticism!

Looking for work!

Chia Bunny, upset over the lack of attention she's received for the last few weeks while I've been studying, has decided to pursue various hobbies to occupy her time. She is currently perfecting her egg-making skills in hopes of being hired as the Easter Bunny this year!

What a little snow bunny!

It seems that while I was gone studying, Chia Bunny decided to have some fun in the snow! I found her trying to make a snow angels outside Burnham Rentals. She was pleased I happened upon her though as her Chia coat hasn't grown in enough to keep her very warm.

Uncle Joe and Aunt Suzi Visit Chia Bunny

Uncle Joe and Aunt Suzi came to check out the sprouts on Chia Bunny. They were both quite pleased with the progress Chia Bunny is making. Thanks again for the Chia Pet!

This all seems a bit seedy!

Chia Bunny finally got seeded! Afterwards, Chia Bunny decided to spend the day tanning - she's hoping for a green, not bronze look though!
Here is Chia Bunny showing off her new coat of seeds to Chia Bear. You can see the excitement brimming on her face!

A Day at the Spa

Chia Bunny is spending the day in a tranquil spa environment in preparation for seeding. Poppin Fresh is nearby in case his life guarding skills are needed (or in case Chia Bunny needs a fresh cresent roll)!

Dinnertime

I found Chia Bunny enjoying a nice dinner of carrots and white zinfandel. She must get her exquisite wine taste from her Uncle Bob.

Chia Bear!!!

Chia Bunny with her good friend, the Chia plush toy: CHIA BEAR!!!!

I tell you, the folks at Chia, Inc. sure do outdo themselves. Not only did I receive the joy of Chia Bunny, but I also received Chia Bear absolutely free! Chia Bunny LOVES playing with Chia Bear because it gives her hope of one day having an equally lovely mane of chia growth!

Introducing Chia Bunny!

Chia Bunny sitting pretty for her first portrait. She is anxiously awaiting her soaking and seeding. Its chilly in the middle of winter to not have a fine fur of chia growth!

*I apologize for the delay in posting, I have been negotiating with the lawyers on blogspot to make sure that Chia Bunny's nudity would not create a problem.
